Principal’s Message

I am honored and feel very privileged to be the Principal of Holy Public Primary School. I am always excited and look forward to working with our students, Staff and parents to make Holy Public Primary School the best school. My commitment to our community is to lead the school with enthusiasm and passion to enable us to reach our goals. We will continue to develop and enhance a school that focus on the development of the whole child, strives for the highest academic standards, reflects the values of its community, has a personalized curriculum for each child, Involves the community in learning, develops true partnerships that value each child.

I have an open door policy and urge all parents to take this opportunity to discuss any issue with me so that we can move forward together. We truly have a fantastic school with a supportive and involved parent community, dedicated and highly skilful staff, excellent resources and buildings and the most fantastic students to work with.

About Us

HPPS is a well-established school situated at Sikandra Enclave in the beautiful and quiet area of been serving the community on its present site since 1989.  We are continuously striving to develop links between ourselves and the local community in which we serve. We aim to provide a full and balanced education. We believe in the basics of education, i.e. literacy and numeracy, and we will strive to achieve success in these areas for our children. Beyond this, we aim to provide a wealth of activities so that children have access to a broad and balanced curriculum, developing a range of skills and interests.

Our pupils are encouraged to reach the highest standards of which they are capable and it is our aim to promote an enjoyment of learning. Our purpose is the acquisition of knowledge and skills through a variety of Curriculum. Through the curriculum and the extra-curricular activities, we offer we would seek to develop a set of reasoned attitudes, values, and beliefs which will enable the children to become contributing members of the community.

We are committed to providing a safe, child-centered, high-quality learning environment in which pupils are motivated, challenged, and supported so that they can become lifelong learners. We aim to establish self-confidence, self-respect and promote consideration for others. We encourage each child to fulfill their intellectual, spiritual, physical, social, and emotional potential. We believe that pupils, staff, parents, governors, and members of the wider community have an important role to play. We believe that we should work together and co-operate with each other in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support, for the benefit of all.

Our Aim

Our pupils are the feature of our school of which we are most proud. Our aim is to create a happy, caring atmosphere in which pupils and adults show consideration and respect for each other at all times. We aim to provide the highest standards of education within an inclusive environment. We have therefore developed a broad and balanced theme-based curriculum, which includes assessment and meets all statutory requirements, ensuring it challenges and meets the needs and interests of all our children. We endeavor to ensure that all of our pupils fulfill their potential, experience success both academically and socially, whilst enjoying their time in our care. We also have a variety of extra-curricular activities designed to enrich each child’s experience, and actively welcome parents into school life.

The School Curriculum

The curriculum is all the learning opportunities that are provided for your child during their time at school. At Holy Public Primary School we believe that the curriculum should be broad and balanced whilst providing for all the needs of the children. We aim to develop all our children intellectually, physically, morally and spiritually through experiences in and out of school. Wherever possible we teach subjects through exciting themes which allow us to be creative, equipping children to become lifelong learners, who are able to ask questions, engage in deep thinking and reflect on their learning. We use the National Curriculum to form the basis for the subjects we teach. Holy Public Primary School curriculum develops responsible, lifelong learners (students and teachers) through:

Smart class

Smart class is a technology-oriented initiative for schools. It provides tools and content for interactive self-paced as learning by students, as well as rich-media presentations for classroom learning.

Smart classes are for teachers and students over the web, and will also be installed on the school local server for faster and more reliable access to the content.

 Co-curricular activities facilitate in the development of various domains of mind and personality such as intellectual development, emotional development, social development, moral development and aesthetic development.
